DOVER - A New Jersey Transit train fatally struck one man and injured two others in Dover Tuesday evening.

A spokesman for the transit company says the men were trespassing on fenced-in property when they were hit by train 855 bound for Hackettstown. The two men who survived were airlifted to Morristown Memorial Hospital.

The train runs on the Morris-Essex Line.

As of 10 p.m. Tuesday, service has been suspended between Dover and Mount Arlington. Buses are temporarily in service.
