Almond restaurant turns into a salon tomorrow night.
It will be the first in a series of "Artists & Writers" nights, with a $28 fixed-price menu and plenty of conversation, at the Bridgehampton restaurant.
The three-star establishment plans to hold the events on the first Wednesday of each month, starting tomorrow. The goal is to "give artists and writers the opportunity to gather together to exchange thoughts and ideas," according to chef Jason Weiner.
Diners also should expect an excellent three-course meal. The menus will change every month. The relocated Almond was one of the 10 best restaurants of 2011 in Newsday's annual listing.
