Port Jefferson finished the season undefeated and won the Class C title.

Read below for a recap of the title game:

Port Jefferson (19-0) has been waiting for this day since last summer. The Royals with a senior-laden team that return all starters are all about repeating as state Class C champions.

They get the chance this morning against Lansing (20-0), which has outscored opponents 81-1 this season. Port Jefferson defeated Lansing in the state semifinals last season, 1-0. We are ready to go live here from Middletown.

We are 15 minutes in and no score. Port Jefferson has had the better of play so far.

Port Jefferson goalkeeper Gabe Davis makes a leaping save, tipping the ball over the net on a well struck ball by Lansing in the 20th minutes. It leads to a corner kick by Lansing, but the Port Jefferson defense clears it.

Blake Bohlen sends a nice through ball to Vincent Antonelli and he shoots the ball wide of the net in the 28th minute. It is still scoreless.

Bohlen with a header just over the goal with 19 seconds left. Port Jefferson had the better of play in the first half but it is still scoreless.

Port Jefferson is putting the pressure on but still scoreless six minutes into the second half.

Gabe Davis makes a save on a 38-yard free kick. The game is still scoreless with 21 minutes left in regulation.

Port Jefferson scored with 20:24. Guess who? Who else? Bohlen again for his 33rd of the season. He scored the winning goal the last two games.

Port Jefferson wins 1-0 and are state champions for the second consecutive season.
