On March 30, 2012, New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said that the NYPD is investigating allegations that the comic roughed up a female companion. Kelly said the alleged altercation stemmed from a dispute.

This weekend’s top Hudson Valley entertainment events return to the classics, specifically tried and true acts in rock and comedy.

Sunday: Asia 30th Anniversary Reunion Tour at UPAC

A few years before Asia’s current 30th Anniversary Reunion Tour, the classic-rock supergroup could be heard providing sonic motivation for Steve Carell’s main character in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin.” In the process, the soundtrack might have been the first time many audiences younger than 40 heard the sounds of bassist-vocalist John Wetton (from King Crimson), guitarist Steve Howe (Yes), keyboardist Geoff Downes (the Buggles), and drummer Carl Palmer (Emerson, Lake & Palmer). Fortunately for regional fans young and old, UPAC concertgoers will get to hear "Heat of the Moment" — and the rest of the band’s self-titled album from 1982 — in its entirety.

When: 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14

Info: Ulster Performing Arts Center, 601 Broadway, Kingston; 845-339-6088; www.upac.org; $44-64
