Sunday: Live animal exhibit in Chestnut Ridge

Curious kids can see, learn about and interact with an eye-popping assortment of unusual creatures when Outragehiss Pets, an animal breeding and education center in Chestnut Ridge, visits The Nature Place Day Camp. The show will feature a Burmese python, a spur thigh tortoise, a giant African bullfrog, an arctic fox and a few surprises. The one-hour program is appropriate for all ages.

Sunday: “Meet the Instruments” children's concert in White Plains

In a special presentation by the Music Conservatory of Westchester, a select group of young students will perform original compositions by the faculty in “Meet the Instruments,” featuring brass, strings and woodwinds. The one-hour concert is for ages 5 and up.
