Baseball card collection a hit

When I came to America from Poland in March 2008, I didn't even know what baseball was. But, because of my dad and grandfather, I soon learned about the sport. When my grandfather died 21/2 years ago, he left me his entire baseball card collection, which includes cards from the 1950s. At my last count, I have more than 25 books that include many Hall of Fame players, such as Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays and Hank Aaron. My grandfather was a Yankees fan. I am a Mets fan, and I go to a few games every year with my dad.

I spend many nights looking at my baseball cards and thinking about all the time and hard work my grandfather put into this collection. This makes me appreciate this collection even more. I collect new cards every new baseball season, and, just like my grandfather did, I keep them protected and organized in binders.

Because of the love I found for this game, I play in my local Little League.
