Kind of an overcast, dreary, close-to-the-solstice morning here in New York as another stage in the NHL's CBA negotiations begins around 2 p.m..

We won't know until later, probably when me and my hockey media colleagues are staking out the talks, which players of the couple dozen that are in the city will actually be in the room the with the barons, who themselves are scheduled to meet tomorrow.

My guess, which is similar to others, is that Sidney Crosby will be among the six or 10 reps.

Anyway, for breaking news and full live coverage today and the rest of the week in the saga, check @stevezipay on Twitter, here and on newsday.com  Might even have a radio appearance or two, will advise.

ICYMI, last night's report outta Boston that there were secret meetings on Monday and that a deal is close to being announced have been shot down.
