George Martin, the flagship restaurant of the group that has its name, celebrates its 23rd anniversary with specials five nights a week through Sept. 27.

The Rockville Centre spot, also known as George Martin The Original, designates tonight "shrimp night," with a $26.95 fixed-price menu that includes soup or salad and a choice of three shrimp dishes, plus dessert.

Tuesdays signal "pasta and pinot" for $25.95, with a glass of either pinot noir or pinot grigio to go with the soup or salad, one of three pasta main dishes, and dessert. "Wine Down Wednesday" translates into a $20 bottle of wine. Thursdays mean "bacon-fixe," with a chef's bacon-centric menu that changes weekly. Three-course family dinners will highlight Sundays. Cost: $24.95.
