Breakfast of champions
I’m referring neither to the cook nor the consumer of the breakfast pictured here, but rather to the champion ingredients: blueberries and peaches. This time of year, the first thing I think of when my alarm goes off is the beautiful local fruit I’m going to have for breakfast.
I’ve gilded the lily a bit here, with some toasted sliced almonds and Greek yogurt. This feast will tide me over until lunch’s tomato sandwich.
