Only four more weeks for the indoor G&G Huntington winter farmers market. This Sunday, Heirloom Vegan Eatery from Williamsburg, Brooklyn will be serving a selection of their entirely meat-free specialties, among them vegan gyros and souvlaki, pulled “pork” sandwiches, kale chips and Tater Tots. Sandwiches are $8, sides are $3, combos for $10.

Live Island Cafe, which specialized in raw foods, has closed. The little Huntington takeout, secreted away in a small strip mall outside of the village, served the raw vegan cuisine of chef-owner Okima Wilcox-Hitt.
