Backpack drive kicks off in Huntington
On Friday, Aug. 21, County Legislator Jon Cooper (D-Lloyd Harbor) helped kick off a backpack collection drive that is being sponsored by Sweeties Candy Cottage in Huntington.
Sweeties has teamed up with Teresa’s Family Cleaning, which graciously volunteered to pick up backpacks from individuals or families who are not able to drop them off at Sweeties.
