Doug Weight named captain

The team voted today and selected veteran Doug Weight as captain of the 2009-2010 Islanders.
Brendan Witt, Mark Streit, Richard Park, and Kyle Okposo were all awarded with A's.
When I talked to Weight about potentially becoming the next Islanders captain during training camp he said:
