We’re at the halfway point of the season and as usual it’s another weekend that has serious national title implications. Georgia, Florida, LSU, Oregon and Oklahoma are all in contention for conference/national titles. They also all have tough games. The top 5 could be drastically different next week.

Here are a few weekend matchups to look forward to.
No. 14 Notre Dame @ No. 17 Michigan, 8:00: This game isn’t likely to have any national title implications, but a road win in a hostile stadium would be just what Notre Dame needs. A few quick notes on the opening weekend of college football.
Rutgers: How long are we to drink the Kool-Aid. Instead of kicking the extra point to force a fifth OT in their 52-51 4OT loss at Fresno State, the Scarlet Knights went for two.
