You could make the case that the game against the Cardinals last year was the last time this team was at peace. It was a 37-29 win in Arizona, a triumphant return to the site of their Super Bowl win.
There were some issues. Brandon Jacobs did not play because of a lingering knee injury. Plaxico Burress tried to play but ran one route and took himself out of the game with a hamstring injury.
