Tim McCarver proud he made it in NY
Tim McCarver, who will work the All-Star Game for Fox Tuesday, will accept the Ford C. Frick Award that honors broadcasters during induction weekend in Cooperstown July 21-22, a nod his partner, Joe Buck, called “overdue.’’
“I think his overall contribution to the game is unmatched by anyone in the Hall of Fame,’’ Buck said. “Tim’s done it all.’’
