Dr. Michael McAleese recently opened OPSIN Eye Care in Orchard Plaza on Route 35 in Ocean Township. The thief made away with at least 300 frames according to McAleese, at a value of about $100,000.

McAleese says his store was a disaster when he arrived early Friday morning. "We had a broken window, frames all gone from the board, some frames on the floor, displays knocked over," he says.

The owner says he opened the shop just two months ago and is discouraged by the blatant theft.  "It's very disheartening to know someone can come right in and take away what you've been working for," says Evelyn McAleese. "It's scary."

Police are still looking for the robber, who can be seen on the security video wearing glasses.
