Bronx man charged in New Rochelle hit-run
A Bronx man was arrested Saturday night for allegedly hitting 15-year-old New Rochelle boy with his SUV and driving away, police said.
Marcos Garcia, 28, was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe when he ran into the teenager near the corner of Huguenot Street and Centre Avenue, according to New Rochelle police. Garcia allegedly fled but was arrested shortly after by Pelham Manor police.
The teen was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for a broken leg and head injuries, police said.

He was listed in stable condition.
Garcia was charged with leaving the scene of a serious personal injury accident, a felony. He was released on $750 bail Sunday and is due in New Rochelle court Monday at 9:30 a.m., police said.
