7 restaurants nabbed for underpaying workers

The U.S. Department of Labor on April 16, 2014, said it had fined the operators of seven Asian restaurants on Long Island for underpaying workers. In total, a U.S. District Court for the Eastern District ruling ordered these owners to pay $1.6 million in back wages and damages.
