Bayville insurance broker stole $180G from woman, DA says

A Bayville insurance broker who took nearly $180,000 from a woman after selling her a phony insurance package has been charged with grand larceny, prosecutors said.

Gilante Lombardi, 42, was arrested Wednesday morning after prosecutors said he sold insurance to a Searingtown woman who thought she was paying insurance premiums on seven commercial properties that she owned, including strip malls...
