Time-saving tips
•Don't schedule more than 65 percent of any day, suggested consultant Andrea Feinberg. Allow for the unexpected.
•Don't let your day be consumed by never-ending phone calls and e-mails. Pick a time once or twice a day to check e-mails and return calls, she added.
•Break high-payoff projects into subtasks and devote some time each day to work on at least one of the latter, said time manager Peter Turla.
•Keep your to-do list realistic so you don't get even more stressed out, said time trainer Linda Berke.
•Allocate a couple of hours at the end of each week for a review to make sure you're on top of your tasks, said productivity expert David Allen. Keep lists as updated as possible.
