First day of Fortunoff's liquidation sale attracts hundreds
Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Fortunoff shoppers - some nostalgic, others merely intent on bargain-hunting - lined up at jewelry counters, tested couches and browsed fine-china collections inside the retailer's flagship store in Westbury yesterday, the first day of a liquidation sale.
