Hi-Tech Pharmacal says it swung to 1Q profit from loss
Hi-Tech Pharmacal Co. of Amityville, a generic-drug maker, said Monday it swung to a profit in its fiscal first quarter, which ended July 31, compared with a loss in the same period last year.
The company said that it earned $1.5 million in its latest quarter, compared with a loss of $2.8 million in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
