3 job fairs this week for up to 125 open posts

Three jobs fairs and recruitment events on Long Island this week are hiring for potentially 125 jobs locally, according to Kirk Cronk, the director of business services at the Suffolk County labor department.

- Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Macy's will hold an on-site recruitment event at the Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center in Hauppauge, the department store chain is hoping to hire at least 50 sales associates. The employment center is at 725 Veterans Memorial Hwy.

- Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. - Custom Computer Specialists Inc., which provides information technology services, will hold an informational session on 25 open posts for engineers, field technicians and software developers. The job fair will take place at the company's offices at 70 Suffolk Ct. in Hauppauge.

- Thursday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Suffolk County will hold a job fair in the Brentwood Public Library at 34 2nd Ave., where up to 75 positions may be available. Prospective employers include New York Life Insurance Company, Utopia Home Care, St. Joseph's College, Suffolk County Community College, etc.

Those interested in attending the events should bring a resume and dress for an interview for all three.
