DiNapoli to talk local business funding at LI economic symposium today

Action Long Island, a non-profit organization that promotes local economic initiatives, will host an economic symposium featuring New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli today.

The event will begin at noon at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, and is expected to last until 2 p.m.

DiNapoli is expected to focus his talk on funding opportunities for Long Island businesses through a state private equity program. He will be joined by a panel of business leaders including Sleepy's CFO Joe Graci, private equity group Hamiliton Lane executive David Helgerson, PACS Industries CEO Bruce Dalis and Delta Point Capital fund manager Kevin Halpin.

Opening remarks will start at 12:30 p.m. and DiNapoli's talk will begin at 12:45 p.m.
