A sports bar chain from Maryland is making Long Island the first market in a push to expand into New York State.

The Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille -- a chain of 34 restaurants in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Washington D.C. -- has finalized a franchise deal to allow two Long Islanders to open up to 10 franchise locations in Nassau and Suffolk counties, the company announced Monday....
