Roslyn Goldmacher, the chief executive of the Long Island Development Corp., will speak to the Suffolk County Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club Tuesday night.

Goldmacher will focus her talk on financing options for small businesses and how to take advantage of certain programs for maximum benefits, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone said in a news release.

The LIDC is a nonprofit that provides low-interest loans and financial counseling to small businesses for free. Goldmacher founded the organization out of a volunteer effort in 1980.

Goldmacher's talk will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the H. Lee Dennison Building at 100 Veteran’s Highway in Hauppauge. It is free and open to the public; identification is required to attend.
