Netsmart Technologies Inc., a software maker with about 150 employees in Great River, has acquired a Manhattan company to broaden its offering of programs to health care firms.
The Overland Park, Kan., company declined the say how much it paid for Defran Systems, which employs about 70 people and produces case, clinical and financial management software.
