Should New York's minimum wage be tied to inflation? The state minimum stands at $7.25 an hour, an amount some say is not a living wage. Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo has proposed raising it to $8.75. That's 25 cents higher than a proposal that died in the State Senate last year.
