The developer who is revamping Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum and an executive of one of Long Island’s largest office building owners will speak to small business owners at an Oct. 18 meeting.

Developer Bruce Ratner of Forest City Ratner Companies is expected to discuss its $229-million remake of the coliseum property with the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce.

The other keynote speaker will be Seth Pinsky who recently joined RXR Realty as executive vice president and investment manager. He had been president of the New York City Economic Development Corp.

The council breakfast and event will run from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Crest Hollow Country Club, 8325 Jericho Tpke.

Other speakers will include Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano and State Senate Republican leader Dean Skelos of Rockville Centre.
