Applications can be obtained and submitted in person at the Empire State Carpenters Apprenticeship Committee office, 270 Motor Pkwy. in Hauppauge, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays through July 1, 2014.

Applicants must be 18 or older, live on Long Island, provide proof of finishing high school or GED courses, be physically able to do carpentry work, have a driver’s license and be willing to join the union.
