NeuLion, Inc., an interactive digital video company based in Plainview, could help bring the live experience of a Rolling Stones concert to countless fans around the world.

The company has partnered with WWE to provide a digital live stream of the final stop on the influential rock band's 50th anniversary One More Shot tour.

The actual concert will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. Saturday at 9 p.m. Fans who are unable to buy a ticket for the sold-out event or who live in other countries, however, will be able to a buy a virtual ticket to watch the event online.

NeuLion will be in charge of processing the digital ticket sales and providing the platform to deliver the live stream for fans accessing through PCs, tablets and mobile phones, said Chris Wagner, NeuLion executive vice president for marketplace strategy. WWE is producing the live event for pay-per-view television.

By accessing through digital, fans of the band will have certain benefits not available if they were to watch the event live or on TV, Wagner said.  "It’s an interactive experience... You have things like instant replay... and full media integration around Facebook and Twitter."

Tickets for the virtual event are $39.99. Those interested in purchasing a ticket to watch the digital live stream can do so at rollingstones.com/watch. Fans must also download the free One More Shot app on their mobile device to watch the event.

NeuLion is a public company traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Charles Wang -- a founder of Computer Associates and owner of the New York Islanders --  is company chairman.
