TOKYO (AP) — Japan's government said Tuesday it will compile an extra budget aimed at supporting the deflation-plagued economy.
Takahiro Asaoka, an official for the Cabinet Office, said the size of the supplementary budget would be at least 2.7 trillion yen ($31 billion). The government will announce details later in the week, he said.
