Bryan Moeller has been named director of Small Business Banking for Wells Fargo's L.A. Metro Community Bank region. David Allen Company named C. Patrick Smith president and CEO. DivX appointed Kevin Hell as its chief executive officer.

Bryan Moeller has been named director of Small Business Banking for Wells Fargo's L.A. Metro Community Bank region. Moeller is the first person to hold this newly created position, where he will manage all aspects of sales and service for small and mid-size business customers in greater Los Angeles.

Los Angeles-based David Allen Company announced that it has named C. Patrick Smith, to the position of president and chief executive officer. Smith succeeds company founder David Allen, who will ascend to the role of chairman. Most recently, Smith was CEO of Behavioral Science Technology.

San Diego-based DivX, Inc. (NASDAQ: DIVX) appointed Kevin Hell as DivX's new chief executive officer and a member of the board. Hell has served as the acting chief executive officer since July 2007. Before joining DivX in 2002, Hell served as senior vice president of product management for Palm Solutions Group.
