Robert L. Renda has joined Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana, in Uniondale, as an associate in the tax certiorari practice group. Robert L. Renda has joined Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana, in Uniondale, as an associate in the tax certiorari practice group. The Massapequa resident concentrates his practice in the areas of tax certiorari, real estate and condemnation. He was previously a paralegal at Certilman Balin in Hauppauge.

BOARDS/ASSOCIATIONS

Daniel Kinney has been appointed to the board of trustees of the Long Island Library Resources Council representing the category of largest academic library, Suffolk County. The Stony Brook resident has recently been appointed the interim dean of libraries at Stony Brook University.

Andrew Steffan has been appointed chairman of the board of trustees for The Nature Conservancy. Steffan is a retired managing director of Citigroup and divides his time between Bridgehampton and Manhattan.

EDUCATION

Dominic Scianna has been promoted to associate vice president for external relations at St. John's University in Queens. The East Meadow resident has been with the University for 16 years and previously served as assistant vice president of media relations.
