Forest Labs to lay off

84 workers in Commack

Pharmaceutical maker Forest Laboratories Inc. has notified the U.S. Department of Labor it plans to lay off 84 employees at its packaging plant at 500 Commack Rd. in Commack. The Labor Department's online site says the company filed the layoff notice Tuesday because of a "plant unit closing," and the reason for the layoffs was "economic."...
