The Port Jefferson School District has appointed three new administrators.

Robert Neidig of Babylon has been hired as principal for Port Jefferson Middle School. He was assistant principal of North Country Road Middle School in the Miller Place school district.

Jodi Cahill of Shoreham has been hired as director of special education. She was Brentwood school district department head for speech and hearing and chairwoman of the district committee on special education.

Claudia Smith of Rocky Point has been appointed as pre-K-8 assistant principal for Edna Louise Spear Elementary School and Port Jefferson Middle School. She was an elementary teacher in the Middle Country Central School District for 18 years.

Carrie Bhada of Setauket has been hired as vice president for institutional advancement at St. Joseph's College in Patchogue. She was vice president of development at Huntington Hospital.

Donald Sturz of Centerport has been appointed assistant to the superintendent for pupil personnel services in the Levittown School District. He was director of special education and pupil personnel services in the East Meadow school district.
