The American Society of Civil Engineers, Long Island Branch, has elected three members to its board of directors.

Daniel H. Winkelman of Greenlawn, president, is senior transportation engineer with VHB in Hauppauge.

Rafiqul Chowdhury of Bayside, Queens, president-elect, is a project engineer with Grace Industries in Plainview.

Christine Gayron of Farmingdale, vice president, is president of Gayron De Bruin Land Surveying and Engineering in Bethpage.

Dr. Jorge L. Gardyn of Garden City, chairman of the Nassau Community College board of trustees and an internist who runs Island Occupational Medical Resources in Amityville, has been named to the board of directors of the American Heart Association of Long Island in Plainview.

Collette Morgan of Mount Sinai, vice president/investments and a financial adviser at JPMorgan Chase Bank in Farmingville, has been elected president of the Suffolk County Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women in Islip.
