Empire National Bank in Islandia has two new hires.

Frank DeRosa of Babylon has been hired as vice president and commercial loan officer. He was vice president at Morgan Stanley's headquarters in Manhattan.

Michael Locorriere of West Islip has been appointed executive vice president/director of municipal banking. He was senior vice president/municipal banking at Community National Bank in Melville and has been a Suffolk legislator and North Hempstead comptroller.

Anita J. Nigrel of Shoreham has been promoted as executive vice president and chief retail officer at Suffolk County National Bank in Riverhead. She was senior vice president.


Greg Brinkman of Rye has been named president of ExcelAire, a private jet charter company, at MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma. He has been chief operating officer of ExcelAire and a corporate pilot for investment firm Kidder, Peabody in Manhattan.
