Microsoft store in White Plains
Microsoft's flagship store opens at The Westchester mall in White Plains. Achim Berg, Corporate Vice President WW Operator Channels at Microsoft, presented software grants to the JCY-Westchester Community Partner, Nepperhan Community Center and the Junior Achievement of Hudson Valley in a total amount of 1.5 millions dollares. these grants are intended to create opportunities for local youth through technology. Wristbands were given out to the first 2,500 customers for a performance by Lenny Kravitz Sept. 29, 2012 at White Plains High School. (Sept. 28, 2012)
