April Mayo of Wyandanch, who was arrested Thursday and accused of forging a check of a 90-year-old woman she was caring for, was also charged with bribery when she offered a detective $250 to let her go, police said.
Mayo was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree and bribery of a public servant in the third degree.
