The Taste NY store is scheduled to open in August in 460 square feet of space on the west side of the terminal, adjacent to the Biltmore Room. The store will be supported by the state's Taste NY marketing campaign.

One Woman was selected by MTA staff in a competitive process. A state announcement said owner Claudia Purita grew up on a farm in Calabria, Italy, and worked in the restaurant business before opening the Southold vineyard in 2004. Other Taste NY stores operate at LaGuardia Airport and the New Baltimore rest area of the New York State Thruway south of Albany.
