On November 17, 2015 Accreditation University, a division of Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) will hold a Private Duty Accreditation workshop in Cranbury, New Jersey. The workshop will educate private duty agencies in New Jersey on the requirements needed to achieve and maintain compliance with ACHC Accreditation Standards and state regulations. The workshops will be instructed by leading industry expert, Lisa Meadows, ACHC Clinical Compliance Educator.
As a nationally recognized accreditation organization, ACHC places great value on continuing education as a means of achieving and maintaining accreditation. The recent formalization of Accreditation University as a division of ACHC focuses resources within the organization to provide a full range of educational offerings including workshops held throughout the year. Accreditation University workshops provide in-depth training on each step of the accreditation process, specific strategies that can be utilized to prepare for the survey, and ongoing compliance with ACHC Accreditation Standards.
This workshop will be customized for New Jersey providers to include information on the recent state legislation requiring all health care service firms to become accredited within 12 months of registering with the state Division of Consumer Affairs. ACHC was recently approved as an authorized accrediting body for the state of New Jersey, giving health care service firms expanded accreditation options.
