AVC Corporation, the ‘one stop shop’ packager and 3PL provider, announced the appointment of Sharon Van Roo as Vice President of Merchandising beginning May 1.

Sharon was formerly Vice President, Division Merchandise for Seasonal Merchandise and also Senior Director of Jewelry and Accessories, at Sam’s Club.

Sharon brings a new dimension to AVC’s efforts to expand its efforts in bringing new products and efficient logistics to new and current clients. She will focus on the product development of unique and innovative items and engage in delivering them through AVC into key retail channels.

Recently AVC has initiated a program to enhance reverse logistics by joining forces with a major secondary reseller allowing AVC to market and sell products that have been returned to the AVC reverse hub. AVC re-certifies client’s products and then resells thru AVC, and its partners, into the secondary market.
