Brickstone Realty has entered into a lease for 24,000 SF of collaborative workspace at the Steele Building in the Midtown Village neighborhood of Center City Philadelphia with an NYC based shared-workspace provider known as The Yard.
The Yard currently features has 6 dynamic locations in New York City. This will be its first in Philadelphia. The Yard will be the sole office tenant, occupying floors 2 through 5 plus a 1,650 SF roof deck. http://www.theyard.nyc
The tenant was represented by Matthew Frederick and Dan Gummel of Perna Frederick Commercial Real Estate. The Landlord was represented by Mitch Marcus and Patrick Grenko of Jones Lang LaSalle. Brickstone Realty is the developer of the project.
The Steele Building is located at 15 S 11th Street (11th & Ludlow) where Midtown Village meets Market East. John Connors of Brickstone Realty, the building developer, says “Brickstone sought to make Steele Building the poster-child for high quality creative office space in Midtown Village. The Yard will be a significant resource for the expanding Midtown Village tech scene.”
Brickstone has commenced construction on the building and will deliver space to The Yard before year end.
