Extensis FontLink and vjoon K4 integration removes serious problems fonts can inflict upon publishing workflows
Portland, Ore. (USA) and Hamburg, Germany (PRWEB) October 13, 2015
Extensis® announced today it has released an integrated font management solution for vjoon K4®, the globally renowned cross-media publishing platform used by publishers across the world.
Available today, FontLink™ is a module for Extensis Universal Type Server® that delivers fonts for documents in automated publishing workflows that use Adobe® InDesign Server®. FontLink 1.1 offers a direct integration for companies using vjoon K4, allowing customers to incorporate font management into their publishing workflows and eliminate the problems fonts can inflict upon the automated process.
“Having the correct fonts during production is critical for any InDesign Server workflow. Missing or incorrect fonts can quickly derail automated processes and pull resources away from critical tasks,” said Toby Martin, Vice President of Development & Strategy at Extensis. “The integration of FontLink with vjoon K4 represents significant advancements in quality, time and cost savings for automated publishers.”
“Extensis and vjoon share a mission to empower the creative process,” said Ralf Lemke, Product Manager at vjoon. “The integration of font management with our cross-media publishing system makes this solution one of a kind.
