Local agricultural lender, MidAtlantic Farm Credit, will be awarding $18,000 in academic scholarships to students across their five-state territory.

MidAtlantic Farm Credit will be awarding $18,000 in scholarships to those who are planning to attend or are currently enrolled as full-time students at a college, university, or technical school. The deadline for all applications and supporting materials is January 15, 2016.
“Since 2001, we’ve awarded over 150 scholarships to students in our community,” says Bob Frazee, CEO of MidAtlantic Farm Credit. “We look forward to increasing that number and assisting a new group of bright, young students pursue their dreams of higher education.”
MidAtlantic Farm Credit’s scholarship program is open to high school students or students who are currently enrolled in a two or four year educational program. The applicants and/or their parents or guardians must be MidAtlantic Farm Credit customers to be eligible. The selections will be based on the applicant’s record of academic success and participation in extracurricular activities.
