Highly anticipated 6th Anniversary of the Forte International Music Competition that is expected to attract many talented musicians of different ages from around the world is about to begin.
Forte International Music Competition is an annual event open to piano, strings, woodwinds, brass, and vocalists of all nationalities, ages 4 - 35. As part of this event, participants receive valuable feedback from judges who are members of the distinguished faculty at prestigious universities in US, as well as internationally acclaimed musicians. Talented musicians and their teachers are also rewarded with certificates, prizes and cash awards, including a Platinum Award and cash prize in the amount of $1,000. Also, new this year: Forte International President's Cup, open to instrumentalists and vocalists of all nationalities, ages 4 and above. Plus, this is a unique opportunity for semi-finalists from the Forte International Music Competition who did not pass into the Final Round at Carnegie Hall to go directly into the Final Round of the Forte International President's Cup, where one will have a chance to perform at one of the prominent stages in NYC, as well as be able to win various prizes and awards, including a President's Cup and a free entry into the Final Round of the Forte International Music Competition at Carnegie Hall. Forte International offers a quick and easy registration process accessible to everyone in the world. Also, the unique structure of the competition allows participants to take part in the Preliminary and Semi-Final rounds of the competition electronically. Plus, Forte International is among a few competitions in the world that is happy to share informative feedback and scores from judges at the conclusion of every round of the competition in order to help aspiring musicians succeed.
The Preliminary and Semi-Final rounds for both competitions will take place on December 5-6, 2015 at Ripley-Grier Studios (also available electronically). The Final Round of the Forte International President's Cup will take place on January 24, 2016 at Victor Borge Hall. The Forte International Music Competition will culminate at the Final Round at Carnegie Hall on February 6, 2016.
