Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Horizon BCBSNJ) announced today that two of its employees are among DiversityMBA Magazine’s 2015 Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executives & Emerging Leaders. The honorees, Victoria Wright-Gibson, Human Resources director, and Gokul Varadharaj, Corporate Strategy director, received their awards at DiversityMBA Magazine’s annual Business Leaders Conference & Awards Gala in Oak Brook, Illinois. Winners were selected by the magazine based on their strategic leadership achievements in the workplace and community. Both recipients will be featured in the 2015 fall issue of DiversityMBA Magazine.

Ms. Wright-Gibson, of Toms River, is responsible for providing strategic human resources advice and counsel to Horizon BCBSNJ’s senior executives. She excels as a strategic business partner, helping key leadership teams reposition and upskill their personnel to achieve business objectives.
A resident of Jersey City, Mr. Varadharaj, is a strategist and a thought leader. He partners with senior executive stakeholders to drive business transformations across the healthcare delivery system such as digital experience, population health management, clinical and market analytics enablement.
While at the conference and awards gala in September, Horizon BCBSNJ was also recognized as an honoree of the 2015 DiversityMBA Magazine 50 Out Front List: Best Places for Women & Diverse Managers to Work. Horizon BCBSNJ was ranked 6th nationally on this list, and as the No. 1 Regional Company for 2015. The award recognizes companies that not only demonstrate their strong commitment to diversity, but also understand the value of supporting external programs that enhance leadership and retention within their organizations
