A recent report released by London School of Marketing reveals that not only are employment opportunities for business management graduates excellent in the UK, but that there are also a number of opportunities in other countries too.

London, England (PRWEB UK) 16 October 2015

London School of Marketing are one of the UK’s leading specialist educational establishments, offering a range of business and marketing qualifications to students across the globe. Their BA in Business Management is one of their more popular courses, with students studying either in the UK or in one of LSM’s partner sites, in locations such as the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, India and South Africa.

In their recent report, released today on their official blog, they outlined the employment prospects that business management graduates can realistically expect to face post-graduation, both here and in other key locations across the world.

“We wanted to create a report that outlined just how many opportunities there are for business management graduates,” explains Gimhani Gunasinghe, head of the marketing department at London School of Marketing. “After all, business management is relevant to almost every industry out there, from retail and sales to HR and the financial sector. In terms of employability and earning potential, it’s a difficult qualification to beat.”

London School of Marketing’s research, sourced from Prospects.ac.uk, discovered that close to a quarter of all business management graduates went on to have careers in business, HR or finance, with nearly 20% entering into marketing, PR or sales roles. Secretarial and retail roles were also popular.

“Starting salaries are also good for business management graduates in the UK,” Gimhani continues. “2013/14 data shows that the national average of UK grads finding employment within 6 months of graduation is 61%. We’re proud to state that LSM’s graduates entering employment within 6 months is significantly higher, with the figure currently standing at 90.4%.”

Additionally, the report examines earning potential in other countries. Average salaries in the United Arab Emirates for business planning and marketing roles are high, and given that expatriates make up 85% of the workforce in the country, there’s plenty of employment opportunities for candidates living in other locations. India also offers an excellent starting wage for graduates with a qualification from a highly reputable establishment, which is especially appealing, given the cost of living still remains relatively low.

“In short, business management offers students unparalleled opportunities, both here in the UK and abroad,” concludes Gimhani. “Our BA in Business Management gives students the chance to learn how to identify and exploit market opportunities, how to gain and retain customers, and how to thrive in a competitive marketplace. These are all highly attractive skills to have, so it’s unsurprising that our students are so well regarded when it comes to employment.”
