New York, NY and London, U.K. (PRWEB) October 15, 2015

Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) today announced the launch of its Solutions Practice Group across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). MLA’s Solution’s Practice Group assists companies and law firms manage variations to complex legal workload without adding to permanent resource. Based in MLA’s London office, Laura Fellows leads the group for this region.

In EMEA, the Solutions Practice Group will expand on the success it has seen within the United States and partner with corporate legal departments and law firms to provide traditional interim and flexible workforce solutions for short-term and long-term legal needs.

“In-house legal teams and law firms are becoming increasingly stretched as markets pick up. Teams can no longer absorb the work of colleagues on leave or who leave as utilisation rates reach a six year high. Major Lindsey & Africa’s Solutions Practice Group has been met with tremendous enthusiasm from clients in the United States and is expected to be equally popular with European clients seeking more immediate solutions for legal talent, ” said Brent Harris, Executive Director, International Operations for Major, Lindsey & Africa. “We welcome the ability to fulfill both immediate and long term legal staffing needs of corporations and law firms across the EMEA region. Laura has joined to build the business here and we welcome both her energy and expertise as she now leads the launch for our team in this region.”

Laura has a wealth of experience in the legal sector. Prior to joining MLA, Laura launched a similar business providing flexible legal talent to clients. Before that she had spent 6 years practicing law in the London offices of Jones Day and Simmons & Simmons and seven years as a senior lecturer on the Legal Practice Course at BPP University. She also has a law degree from the University of Bristol. She can be reached at lfellows(at)mlaglobal(dot)com.
